Nameplate FAQs

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why are your nameplates often sold out?

We work in batches and accept pre-order registrations only from the 1st to the 10th of every month.

Once the slots for a batch are filled, the products are marked as sold out until the next round of registrations opens.

Do you make custom size or design nameplates?

Custom sizes
Our framed nameplates are available only in standard sizes, as the wooden frames are sourced in advance.

If you’re open to:

  • purchasing only the ceramic tiles, and

  • getting the frame made at your end or plastering the tiles directly onto the wall,

we’re happy to discuss custom sizes with you.

Design customisations
We do not offer full design customisations.

For very minor changes (such as text colour or slightly brighter/duller tones), you may write to us. We’ll check with our team if it’s possible and aligns with our design style.
Please note: not all requests may be approved.

How long does it take to make a nameplate?

Our nameplates are made in two stages: design and production.

  • Design: 4–5 working days
You will receive a design draft in your selected size along with 4–5 font options via email.

  • Production: 3–4 weeks
Once the design is approved, it takes time to paint, fire, frame, pack, and dispatch your nameplate.

In total, the entire process takes approximately 4–5 weeks from order to dispatch.
As each nameplate is handmade, timelines may vary slightly.

Can the nameplate be installed outdoors?

Yes, the tiles are weather-proof. Once fired, the colours become permanent and can withstand sunlight and rain.

However, the wooden frame is not weather-proof.

For outdoor installations, we recommend:

  • ordering only the tiles, and

  • plastering them directly onto the wall using white cement.

This is the most durable option for exterior walls.

What is the size of the nameplate without the frame?

Nameplate With Frame  Without Frame
Compact 14 × 8 inches 12 × 6 inches
Wide 20 × 8 inches 18 × 6 inches
Square 14 × 14 inches 12 × 12 inches
Grande 20 × 14 inches 18 × 12 inches

(These measurements have been rounded off and the actual product may be a few millimeters less)

Why do some nameplates have lines between them?

Some nameplate sizes are created by combining multiple tiles. This can result in visible lines where the tiles meet.

Tile breakdown:

  • Compact: 1 tile

  • Wide: 3 tiles

  • Square: 1 tile

  • Grande: 6 tiles

If you prefer no visible lines, we recommend choosing the Compact or Square size.
