This is a half-day introductory workshop where participants will learn how to paint on ceramics and create their own functional hand painted ceramic product. These ceramic painting workshops will be conducted offline at our studio in Pune.
In this beginner's workshop, we will be learning to paint some beautiful ceramic tiles inspired by Athangudi and Moroccan designs.
What you will learn and experience
- How overglaze ceramic paints work
- How to mix ceramic colours
- Transferring designs onto tiles
- Painting techniques on ceramics
- Loading the kiln and firing
At the end of the workshop, you will have created a set of hand painted tiles, which will be fired and sent to you in the following week.

Who is it for?
Absolutely anyone who is curious about ceramic painting and enjoys immersing themselves into the process of making something beautiful by hand. You can be an absolute beginner and do not need any prior experience in art or ceramics.
