Paint Your Own Sugar Pot
This event is exclusively for those who have previously attended our beginners workshop.
Join us yet again for a fun-filled morning of ceramic painting, this time expanding our canvas to newer products! We'll refresh our ceramic painting basics and level up by conceptualising a creative design for our beloved sugar pots.
Curious about how this is different from the beginners' workshop?
Our Beginners’ Workshop introduces you to the fundamentals of ceramic painting — learning basic skills and applying them to pre-made designs on tiles, the simplest surface to start with.
The Advanced Masterclass is designed as the natural next step. Here, you’ll:
-
Conceptualise your own design (no pre-set templates).
-
Explore how to use different techniques to achieve specific effects. (for example, if my character is wearing denim dungrees, what combination of colours and techniques would look like denim?)
-
Work on a more complex surface — the sugar pot — which brings new creative and technical challenges.
We’ll begin with a group discussion on your design idea and guide you on how to translate your vision onto the pot. This workshop is all about moving from replicating designs → to creating and executing your own original piece with the support of our team.
It’s a significant level up — both in creativity and skill.
At the end of the workshop, you will have created a fun little sugar pot, which will be fired and sent to you in the following week.
